7 Week Beginner Hand-Building Class
Thursdays 6:00-8:30pm ⋅ Apr 24 - Jun 5 ⋅ Taught by Madde (@maddesullivan.ceramics)
A weekly 2.5 hour class over 7 weeks. Learn the basics of hand-building using various techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab-building to create unique items. No experience required! All materials (including clay, tools, aprons) are provided; no additional purchases necessary. Glaze and firing fees are also included in the cost of this class. Maximum class size of 8.
What to expect each week:
Week 1: Pinch Pots
Week 2: Coil Building
Week 3: Slab Building with Premade Templates
Week 4: Slab Building with Custom Templates
Week 5: Sculpting Solid & Hollowing Out
Week 6: Surface Decorating
Week 7: Glaze Day
