7-Week Beginner Wheel-Throwing Courses
$420 + GST / person

A weekly 2.5 hour wheel throwing class with hands-on instruction in a group setting. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing. At the end of the course you will have up to twelve unique creations to take home. No experience required! All materials (including clay, tools, aprons) are provided; no additional purchases necessary. Glaze and firing fees are also included in the cost of this class. Maximum class size of 9.

7-Week Progressing Potters Wheel-Throwing Course
$420 + GST / person

This 7 week course is led by Pat (@pat_jaffray) on Friday afternoons. In this post-beginner wheel class, Pat will meet each student where they’re at, and build from each individual’s current skill level. In each class you can expect to watch a demonstration of a new form or technique, and the remainder of the class will focus on individual coaching, with impromptu demos and explanations as needed. Each week and rotation of this class will have varied demonstrations as dictated by the participants each week. Maximum class size of 8.
What’s Included:
Each participant will receive one bag of M340 clay (included) to start. Additional clay is available for purchase from mud directly, allowing students the freedom to explore the use of different clay bodies. Other materials (ie. basic tools, aprons) are provided. Glaze and firing fees are also included in the cost of this class.
Pre-Requisite: You must have completed a minimum of two multi-week wheel classes with us prior to enrolling in this course.

Friday Night Throw Downs
$180 + GST / couple

Bring your date, your mother, your brother, whoever you want! A one-time, 2 hour lesson for you and a throw down partner. You will each have your own wheel and tackle the basics of wheel throwing in a group. Pick two of your favourite creations at the end of your lesson, then we will finish and fire them for you. Beginner friendly. Materials are provided.
Optional: Pick a succulent or cactus from our collection, or try out the amazing candle making pop-up curated by Milk Jar for our studio! Anything you make can be made into a Milk Jar candle or be potted with a plant.
$3/ oz of coconut-soy wax $7-20/ plant

Workshop: Pinch and Paint
Saturday May 10th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
$85 + GST / Person
Join us for a 2-hour hand building class led by the talented Natalie (@natalieclairecole)! You'll learn how to shape your very own mug using classic pinching techniques—perfect for beginners. After forming your mug, you can explore texture tools and coloured underglazes to decorate your piece with unique designs. Your mugs will be finished in a clear glaze to bring out the colours and give it a glossy look. All materials, glazing, and firing included.
Pieces will be available for pick up approximately 2-3 weeks later.
Workshop: Flower Frog Bowls
Sunday May 11th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm (Mothers’ Day)
$90 + GST / Person
In this hand-building workshop, you'll craft a beautiful flower frog bowl—a functional and decorative piece designed to hold floral arrangements (fresh or dried)! No experience is needed—just bring your creativity, and Amy (@amyheinart) will guide you through the process. All materials, glazing, and firing included.

Workshop: Beer Steins at High Line Brewing
Sunday April 27th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
$95 + GST / person
Call up your liquid courage and prepare to get muddy during this kick ass hand-building workshop held at High Line Brewing. Each participant will hand-build and decorate their own unique stein. Each attendee will receive 2 drink tickets to enjoy a local brew during the workshop. No prior experience required. Materials are provided. Primary instructor: Emily (@ceremics.ceramics).

Workshop: Blazing Trays
Sunday April 6th from 1:00pm - 2:30pm
$75 + GST / Person
Learn hand-building techniques from Megan (@motormouthceramics) and create your own Blazing Tray! Inspired by Seth Rogen, this workshop lets you design and decorate your own ashtray using pre-rolled slabs. No prior pottery experience is needed. All materials provided.

Hug Your Pot
Booked by request only.
$500 + GST (One Vase Per Pair)
Join the latest celebrity-inspired trend (like Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber) and create a meaningful memory. You will have 2 hours to practice hand building with clay at our studio. One of our skilled artists will throw a large vase while you work. Once the vase is ready, you and your partner will hug around the vase, leaving your unique imprints. 3-4 weeks later you will have your own custom-hugged pot to pick up.
